Building Technician
Building Technicians are responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing SaskTel buildings and properties. They act as Chief Engineer and Refrigeration Engineer and are responsible for all heating, cooling and humidification systems. Building technicians provide project and contract management on contracted building services and may be required to travel within Saskatchewan. Building Technician positions are located across Saskatchewan.
Requirements:
The qualifications for a Building Technician include a Building System Technician certification or equivalent and SMG (Saskatchewan Municipal Government) 5th class Engineer’s certificate and SMG Refrigeration Engineer’s Certificate. We look for people who are knowledgeable in computers and have a general knowledge of fire codes, regulations, procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
